I had the opportunity to attend Surfaces this year in Vegas. It is a flooring expo with carpet, tile, wood etc. I went with a coworker and we had a blast! We drove down Tuesday night, stayed in Mesquite, and drove the rest of the way Wednesday morning. We played at the show and went to a party at Margaritaville that night. Crossville hosted the party and man it "rocked!". We danced and danced and had some diet coke! I think we were the only ones there that weren't drinking but we had fun! We just kinda messed around on Thursday (went to the show, went to the Walker Zanger showroom, boo! and ate at Cheesecake Factory). We drove home on Friday morning, I dropped BreAnn off at her house and I went into work for a half day. We made a lot of good contacts and had a blast while doing it. Here are some pictures. I know they don't mean anything to you because you don't live, eat and breathe tile like I do.
This is the only thing I thought was cool at the Walker Zanger showroom. It is a floor medallion that is waterjet with wood and stone, it was beautiful but only about $12,000!
